Our Ministry

Meals On Wings

  • This is the food ministry of The Georgia Club Women’s Bible Study. It is funded by donations.

Whether someone is recovering from surgery, welcoming a new baby, or walking through a difficult season, this ministry helps provide meals during times of need. Here you’ll find details on how to sign up to provide a meal or request one.  It’s a simple act that makes a big difference.

  • Where?

One of our members keep the meals in her garage freezer located on the opposite side of Barber Creek from the clubhouse. For directions please email us: tgcwomensbiblestudy@gmail.com

    Here are the instructions

First, you will need to open the garage. (Code is given through email) The freezer will be in the back of the garage on the left. The top two shelves are designated for Meals on Wings. Every pan is labeled. Choose which meal you would like. On the top of the freezer is a box of beautiful cards and a clip board. Take a card to share with the recipient of the meal and fill out the information requested on the clip board. Please take care to close the freezer door. As you leave close the garage door by pressing enter on the keypad. There is no need to re-enter the code. These meals go well with a salad, bread or dessert

    To note

    – Try to plan a day or so ahead. I suggest allowing enough time for thawing. The food is much better if allowed to thaw and then cooked.

    – It’s best to ask how many you will be preparing food for. If there are more than 2 people, you may want to get 2 casseroles.
