TGC Women’s Bible Study
“For no word from God will ever fail.” Luke 1:37
Who we are
The TGC Bible Study is for everyone, whether you know a lot about the Bible or a little. At our meetings, here are some things you can count on:
Privacy is always respected and no one will EVER be asked to speak, answer questions, or pray out loud.
No matter where you are in your faith journey you will be encouraged.
Whether you come to every meeting or once in a while you are ALWAYS welcome.
Recognizing that people have varying opinions on topics such as church, religion, and politics, and in an effort to respect and value our differences, the focus of our group will be – God’s word.
“23 And this is his command: to believe in the name of his Son, Jesus Christ, and to love one another as he commanded us. 24 The one who keeps God’s commands lives in him, and he in them. And this is how we know that he lives in us: We know it by the Spirit he gave us. “
1 John 3:23-24
Our Mission
We are a community of women seeking to know God’s Love through His Word, be God’s Love in our relationships, and model God’s Love in our community.
We meet together regularly to study God’s word and learn how it applies to our lives.
We are a group of women who recognize that we are called to love our neighbors as ourselves.
We are a group of women who show love to others through encouragement, support, and action.
Meet your Leader, Cindy!
Hi! I am Cindy Blalock, The Georgia Club Women’s Bible Study leader. This is a position that has been held by Lisa Godwin for MANY years and I’m excited about serving in this role beginning with the Spring 2026 session. Prior to this new leadership role, I was a Small Group Leader and most recently, I have been working closely with Lisa and the Small Group Leaders to ensure our members are connected to a small group where they can grow in their friendship with each other as they grow in their faith.
My husband of 37 years, Randy, and I moved to the North Hill neighborhood in early 2022. We moved from Winder where I was born and raised. Randy is a proud native of Atlanta! Soon after moving to The Georgia Club, I was quickly invited by neighbors to come be a part of this women’s neighborhood Bible Study. I am thankful for these ladies, Lisa, and you for allowing me to continue my faith journey with this special group.
I hope you will join us. It is a great way to strengthen your relationship with God and with your neighbors. The Lord has certainly had a strong presence in this group as we have experienced much growth over the years. We average 60-70 ladies at each meeting. But, don’t be intimated by the size….I promise you will be welcomed with open arms by your sisters in Christ. And, I am confident that you will be greatly blessed by being a part of this group of ladies who love the Lord and each other.

Small Group Information
The TGC Women’s Bible study is well attended, and it’s hard to get to know people in a large group. So at the beginning of each session, everyone will be placed in a smaller group. This small group will sit together each week, and stay together for the entirety of the seasonal session. Each small group will have a Group Leader. She will be the contact for the group and communicate info concerning the large group and her own small group.
Lunch Group Information
Meeting new people in a large group can be difficult. Since our main focus is studying the Bible, there is little time to socialize at our meetings. For this reason, there is an opportunity provided each week for socializing and for connections to continue. After each meeting, we go to lunch at the Clubhouse. We ask at the beginning of the meetings who would like to go, then we call the Club to reserve the space. It’s an awesome way to get to know other people in the Bible study. I encourage each of you to plan and come when you can.
Join Us!
We meet at Village Hall In the Georgia Club, next to the tennis courts. We’re looking forward to seeing you!
Sessions starting March 5 - May 21
